Although written from a female perspective and more about lack of toilets in public venues, it skirts around the issue of Shy Bladders, without getting into the real nitty gritty.
It even looks at the possibility of female urinals, which not surprisingly most females have vehemently rejected.
It seems a lot of people have the problem to varying degrees, but just accept it as some sort of idiosyncracy or inconvenience.
