Melbourne Study on Paruresis

I was recently contacted by Dr Simon Knowles, a clinical researcher at Swinburne University in Melbourne. He has a new website (BBA.mindovergut.com) which provides free information regarding bladder and bowel anxieties, and which also has an online bladder and bowel anxiety assessment tool. He hopes to develop a free online psychological intervention program on these matters by the end of the year, and is keen to have many people completing a survey. It is all anonymous. The link is:

This is a data collection for what he hopes will be the most comprehensive study to date exploring paruresis, parcopresis and toilet choice. It goes without saying that this effort could help raise awareness of these problems, amongst the medical/clinical community and the general population. It deserves our co-operation and support.
